After Robin and Lisa's wedding we had a big family gathering in Arrowtown, where we stayed in a beautiful hilltop lodge and I climbed Ben Lomond and walked up the Arrow River Gorge. I then hightailed it to Wellington to see Rob and Cristina, with whom I walked a big chunk of the Tongariro Crossing. Before getting my flight to LA and my South American adventure started, I also had a few days chilling out in Paihia in the Bay of Islands.
