Our first major trip of the Kumuka Piranha Express tour was a visit to the Pantanal wetlands in Brasil. We spent three days solid travelling to get there, including five hours over bumpy roads driving through watering holes, hanging off the back of a pickup. Braving mosquitoes, alligators, anacondas and piranha, we went on a nature trek, fished for piranha, rode horses and made jewellery whilst sleeping in hammocks at night.
