I spent around four days in Rio de Janeiro getting over jetlag and getting used to the Brasilian way of life. I went to the Maracana to watch some football, visited the Rosinha favella and enjoyed life on Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. I met up with the Kumuka tour group at the Hotel Florida, then we travelled in Famoo, our truck, down to Parati for a few days camping in the heat.
