After Iguazu falls we crossed over into Argentina to visit the Jesuit ruins at San Ignacio, where we also camped by the river. The next day we illegally entered Uruguay (dodgy insurance papers) at Salto before heading down to Montevideo for a few nights. We then spent a beautiful day in Colonia before catching the three-hour ferry from there to Buenos Aires.
